Paul Dean Kuhnert

	Paul Dean Kuhnert, 74, of DuQuoin, passed away Friday, January  5, 2001 at Marshall Browning Hospital.
	 Mr. Kuhnert was a coal miner and a farmer.  He was a Life Member of VFW Post 513.  He also belonged to American Legion Post 647, DuQuoin Sports Booster Club and was Fan of the Year in 1983.
	He was born January 1, 1927 in Perry County, the son of Charles T.  and Elta Ann (Todd) Kuhnert. 
	 Surviving are two brothers, Carl R. (Mary) Kuhnert of Tamaroa and Ronald (Dianna) Kuhnert of Tamaroa and five sisters, Charlene (Marion) Marlow of DuQuoin, Joy (Curtis) Donahue of St. Louis, Mo., Patsy (James) McGhee of St. Louis, Mo., Eileen (Arlen) Hill of Pinckneyville and Gloria (Mark) Jones of DuQuoin.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
	Funeral services were Tuesday, January 9 at 1 p.m. at paradise Baptist Church with Rev. M. Shaw DeMent officiating.  Interment was in Sunset Memorial Park in DuQuoin.
	 Friends called at Neal-McClure Funeral Home on Monday, January 8 from 4 until 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 7:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at which time services moved to the church.  
	Memorial donations may be made to the Stephanie Hill Scholarship fund.
